Freddie Sparrow is the founding President of the Republic of Labradoria, having assumed office on 1 April 2026 upon the formal ratification of the Constitution of the Republic. As Head of State and Head of Government, President Sparrow holds supreme executive authority over all matters of national governance, foreign affairs, and territorial administration of the Republic.
President Sparrow conceived of and established the Republic of Labradoria in 2024, with the vision of founding a peaceful, Christian, and law-governed micronation open to all who share its values of faith, community, and the common good. As the founding President, he has personally overseen the drafting and ratification of the Constitution, the establishment of all Cabinet ministries, the publication of the Labradoian Territorial Register, and the formal conduct of the Republic's first diplomatic declarations.
Under the Constitution, the President serves a renewable term of five years. President Sparrow is the first and current holder of this office and bears personal responsibility for the foundational development of all institutions of the Republic during its establishment phase.
Pursuant to Article V of the Constitution of the Republic of Labradoria, the President holds the following executive powers and responsibilities.
The President represents the Republic of Labradoria in all formal, ceremonial, and diplomatic capacities, including the issuance of presidential declarations, the formal recognition of foreign states, and the conduct of international relations.
The President exercises supreme executive authority over all organs and ministries of the Government, directing policy, issuing lawful orders, and ensuring the faithful execution of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic.
The President alone has the power to appoint and dismiss all Cabinet Ministers, who serve at the pleasure of the President and are accountable to the President for the conduct of their ministerial portfolios.
The President directs the foreign policy of the Republic, issues formal recognitions of sovereign states, enters into treaties and diplomatic arrangements, and engages with the international community on behalf of the Republic.
The President oversees the issuance of Labradoian passports and travel documents, and, with the Cabinet, holds the authority to grant and, where necessary, revoke citizenship in accordance with the Constitution.
The President, with the Cabinet, may propose and adopt amendments to the Constitution, issue official decrees and proclamations, and exercise emergency powers in accordance with Article XX of the Constitution.

"I, Freddie Sparrow, do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the Republic of Labradoria, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and uphold the Constitution and the sovereign interests of the Republic and its people."
The President of the Republic of Labradoria hereby formally and officially recognises all member states of the United Nations as sovereign nations. The Republic additionally extends formal recognition to the Free Republic of Verdis, the Principality of Sealand, and the Republic of Ironland. The Republic of Labradoria invites all recognised states to engage in diplomatic dialogue and mutual cooperation.
The Republic reaffirms that it is an entirely peaceful and unarmed sovereign nation. It maintains no military forces, holds no weapons, and formally declares it will never acquire nuclear, chemical, biological, radiological, or any other weapons of mass destruction. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively through diplomatic channels and peaceful mechanisms.
